• Take on additional volume
• Customer investments for site upgrades i.e. network improvements
• Use of OMS, iAuditor, GEMBA, PD Board, SLAM/SLAM360 (1st Choice Tools) to identify improvements
• Go Green training and initiatives

This KPI is all about how we conduct a profitable business that attracts investment  from our customers and others

Examples of what do we do at site include:

• Business is conducted in compliance with the Code of Conduct, and all applicable legislation
• Customer investments for site upgrades i.e. network improvements
• All new Team Members are trained on the code of conduct, and sign-off in ZenQMS and acknowledgement of the code and all policies when digitally signing the employee handbook provided as part of their on-boarding package
• Training and refresher training on policies in ZenQMS
• Implementation of new policies, and update existing policies, to comply with changes in legislation (i.e. Disconnect from Work policy)

• Coffee & Donuts for a month without recordable incidents, and pizza party for 3 months without a recordable

This KPI is all about how we demonstrate leadership    

Survey Questions: 

1. My direct supervisor clearly explains what is expected of me
2. My direct supervisor regularly provides me with timely and specific feedback
3. I trust my direct supervisor to keep commitments made
4. My direct supervisor helps me to understand my individual contribution to our company's success
5. My direct supervisor provides guidance for focusing on the right priorities
6. My direct supervisor supports me in being adaptive to change    

Examples of what do we do at site include: 

• Leadership development and training is ongoing; this includes enrollment of all newly hired and promoted supervisors in the Leadership Academy, completion of Certified Management and Leadership courses offered by DHL, and internal training days
• 30/60/90 day reviews for all new hires, and an additional 120 day review for new supervisors
• Annual reviews for all employees and semi-annual reviews for supervisors
• Supervisors conduct observations, review productivity, attendance, and performance on a regular basis
• Changes, KPI updates, daily targets are communicated in PD Board meetings at the start of each shift

This KPI is about how we work together as one team, with one goal, to provide excellent customer service 

Survey Questions:

Examples of what do we do at site include: 

• A One Team, One Goal approach to providing excellent customer service
• Team Members in one department assist with work loads in other departments by performing cross-trained tasks
• Team Member feedback is collected and reviewed for process improvements

This KPI is all about how we plan to remain relevant, and conduct business in a sustainable manner while strengthening our future.    

Survey Questions:

Examples of what do we do at site include: 

• Site management (GM, OM's, HR, H&S, Maintenance, etc.) align local operations and policy to the larger company policy, strategy and vision, as well as customer goals and policies
• Operations are aligned to delight our customer (#Delighted Customers), and deliver on the DPDHL vision of Excellence. Simply Delivered.
• Site Management works with our customer to improve warehouse facilities, and upgrades (network upgrades, security upgrades, A-frame and audit station expansions, etc.)

• Network and system upgrades

• Computers available in the lunchroom and setup in the boardroom for surveys
• Lunchroom and warehouse displays, and this website are leveraged for communication
• Transitioning to on-line forms
• Source collision detection system and other safety upgrades to MHE
